Donna Oomens has been working as a vascular sonographer for 30years and during this time has been involved at many levels with training and teaching. Currently, Donna is both an academic at Western Sydney University and Chief Sonographer for Western Sydney Vascular Services. Donna has remained passionate about quality performance in ultrasound and the role mentors play in this regard. Donna has presented at many ASUM meetings nationally, as well as been a previous Chair of the SMU Board of Examiners. Donna has spent time overseas holding vascular workshops in Singapore and working in Pakistan to improve vascular ultrasound. Looking forward, Donna hopes to remain closely involved in training the talented sonographers of the future.

ドナ・オーメンスは30年前から血管系超音波検査士として働き、その間、多方面でトレーニングや教育に携わってきた。現在、Western Sydney Universityの研究者であると同時に、Western Sydney Vascular Servicesの主任超音波検査士でもあります。超音波診断の質の向上と、そのための指導に情熱を注ぎ続けています。ASUMの多くの会議で発表しており、SMUの審査委員会の前委員長も務めています。 また、シンガポールでvascular workshopsを開催したり、パキスタンで血管系超音波の発展に取り組んだりと、国外でも活躍しています。今後も、未来の優秀な超音波検査士の育成に深く関わっていきたいと考えています。

Gary Liu is a senior vascular sonographer at Western Sydney Vascular Services. He obtained bachelor’s degree in Medical Radiation Sciences from The University of Sydney (USYD) in 2008. Following the Diploma of Medical Ultrasonography (Vascular) and credential in Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RPhS), he is currently pursuing Doctor of Philosophy in phlebology ultrasound at the USYD. Gary is an associate fellow of the Australasian Sonographers Association (ASA) and holds membership with the American Lymphatic and Vein Society (ALVS). Gary has a great interest in venous ultrasound and haemodynamics, working with and assisting many vascular interventionalists during the endovenous treatments for varicose veins disease. He has presented original work and conducted workshops at both domestic and international conferences.

ゲイリー・リュウは、Western Sydney Vascular Servicesの上級血管専門超音波検査技師です。2008年、シドニー大学（USYD）で医療放射線科学の学士号を取得。その後、医療用超音波検査（血管系）のDiplomaとRegistered Phlebology Sonographer（RPhS）の資格を取得し、現在はUSYDで静脈超音波の分野でDoctor of philosophy （博士号）を取得しています。オーストラリア超音波医学会（ASA）の準会員であり、米国リンパ・静脈学会（ALVS）の会員でもあります。静脈超音波と血流力学に大きな関心を持ち、静脈瘤の静脈内治療において多くのVascular interventionalistsと協力し、アシストしている。国内外での学会で（原著）の発表やワークショップを行っている。
